Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman came to blows to close out Monday Night Raw.
Fury, one of boxing’s top heavyweight boxers, appeared on Raw and demanded an apology from Strowman after their brief encounter on Friday Night SmackDown the week prior.
Both Fury and Strowman first traded barbs before things got physical. Strowman referenced Fury’s fight against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder on December 🐼2018 when Fury got dropped twice, calling the 10-count for the second knockdown a slow count. Fury, who once held the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight world titles, respꦿonded by asking Strowman how many heavyweight championships he’s won.
Eventually, Fury pushed Strowman to the ropes and Strowman drove Fury to the corner, prompting WWE security to try and separate the two. After that initial attempt failed, several wrestlers came ✤in and try to defuse the situation. Once it seemed the storm had passed, Strowman gave a backstage interview before coming right back out into the ring as the show went off the air.
