Ripley said that Adam Pearce made things o🎃fficial, but no date for the title bout was announced.
Morgan successfully defended her championship against IYO SK﷽Y at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. She was confronted by Ripley after the bout. Morgan defeated Ripley at WWE ﷺSummerSlam with held from Dominik Mysterio. Ripley defeated Morgan by DQ when Raquel Rodriguez interfered at WWE Bad Blood.
